PICKLEBALL LEAGUE

Pickleball is a paddle sport created for all ages and skill levels. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn. It combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong, and can be played indoors or outdoors on a badminton-sized court with a slightly modified tennis net. The game is played with a paddle and plastic ball with holes, and can be played as doubles or singles.

The Royal Picklers meet on a regular basis at the Cape Royal Pickleball and Tennis Courts, located next to the Cape Royal Clubhouse. Open play is 8:30AM-11:30AM Monday-Wednesday-Friday. Open play is for all levels, and beginners are welcome. Having fun is the underlying theme.

There is a one-time initiation fee of $100.00. The annual fee is $25.00 for members of the Cape Royal HOA. Guests of Cape Royal HOA members pay a $5.00 per week. There is no charge for guests using the courts less than one week.

If you are interested in joining our group, please stop by the courts during our scheduled play times. If you are a beginner and would like to know more about this popular sport, we have extra equipment available and will provide you with an informal lesson.
