INFORMATION FOR BUILDING OR REMODELING
ARE YOU PLANNING TO BUILD, OR CONDUCT A LANDSCAPING OR REMODELING PROJECT THAT AFFECTS THE EXTERIOR OF YOUR HOME?
BEFORE YOU START, YOU WILL NEED TO SEEK APPROVAL FROM THE ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW BOARD (ARB).
WHAT IS THE ARB?
The Architectural Review Board is established by the Cape Royal HOA Board of Directors with the independent authority to carry out the review, approval and enforcement of architectural plans and specifications for new construction, as well as major improvements on a parcel in the community, to the extent that the authority is specifically stated or reasonably inferred in the Declaration of Covenants or the published architectural guidelines approved by Board of Directors. This includes conformance to community appearance and aesthetic guidelines for exterior wall and roof colors, landscaping design, exterior enclosures, etc. The ARB ensures owner retained contractors are insured.
5 AM - 8 PM
CONTRACTORS WORK HOURS:
Contractors and sub-contractors (workers for hire) are allowed to perform work in the community only between the hours of 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and between the hours of 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM on Saturdays. No contractor work is allowed on Sundays or national holidays.

Do not start your project until approval is received. The ARB meets on the second Monday of each month to review new requests. Notifications are generally made within a few days.
SUBMIT A REQUEST
Sign and initial the Architectural Guidelines and Review Procedures (Policy 600) and complete the Request for Architectural Review form, along with the Construction Agreement, if required.
