About the event
Dear Cape Royal Residents,
Please join us for a FREE 1.5 hours CPR/AED training class open to all residents, conducted by Matlacha/Pine Island Fire Instructors. This course focuses on the adult, i.e. how to recognize an emergency and respond. Attendees will learn, via classroom training, how to be prepared to make appropriate decisions regarding first aid care and how to provide care for injuries or sudden illness until professional medical help arrives.
Optional hands on training of learning how to perform CPR and use an AED on an adult will be available. Completion of this class will allow the student to render aid under the Good Samaritan Law, however, they will NOT be eligible for an American Heart Association Certification in Advanced CPR and AED.
Please reserve your spot below. Advanced Registration is Required due to limited space.
A sign up sheet will be available that night for those who want to sign up for the 3 hour certification class to be held at Station #4. Cost is $35 per person and completion of this class does provide eligibility for the AHA Certification.
Deadline to Register is Wednesday, January 22th.
Note: This workshop will start promptly at 5:30 pm. Food and drinks will not be served on the Patio during the event, so everyone is encouraged to eat an early dinner or purchase food and drinks from the Caloosa Club beforehand.
Regards,
Camille and Mark Milofff
