COME PLAY. COME STAY. Our tag line for Cape Royal is also the story of how many of our neighbors came to live here. The first people moved in and invited friends to visit. The friends fell in love with the quiet beauty, natural surroundings, and lower costs for a gated golf course community. They settled in and then their friends moved in. Before we knew it, we had a growing community with that family feeling. Now, if you find yourself attracted to Cape Royal, you'll be family, too.
Imagine spending your day on the quiet lanai of your custom-built home watching the herons and osprey play in the water. Or, spend the morning on the tennis/pickleball or bocce courts, then come in for one of the chef's specials and a cool drink at the Caloosa Club . Spend the afternoon playing golf or cards, then join in as neighbors gather at the Club for an early evening of laughter, delicious food, and a bar full of concoctions. If water sports are more your thing, join the kayakers steering through the shallow waters off Matlacha or the boaters heading out from Pine Island, Cape Coral, or Ft Myers.
Cape Royal is operated via a self-managed Homeowners Association, which means that we can keep our costs low and make decisions based solely on the best interests of the community. Our residents staff our seven-member Board and all of its twelve committees, covering areas such as Landscaping, Communications, Surface Water Management, and Roads and Lighting. We have Block Captains who help keep everyone aware of any important news and events. There are volunteer opportunities for charity events, as well as a group called Helping Hands, through which neighbors help each other with loans of medical equipment or a quick run to the drug store for medication. Whatever your interest or skill level, we can find the perfect opportunity for you to get to know the community.
