Fundraising Events

CRCF Garage Sale & Bake Sale

A community garage sale is featured every year and the CRCF has it's goods, along with it's bake sale, located at 11290 Royal Tee Circle.

Anyone wishing to donate unwanted items or Baked Goods to the CRCF Garage Sale, can call Jacquie Flenniken at 282-1958.  This is also an opportunity for any resident of Cape Royal to conduct their own garage sale.  The event is advertised in the newspaper by the CRCF, and each resident keeps their own proceeds.

Lee County High School Golf Scholarship Challenge

Each Spring the CRCF sponsors a Golf Tournament which is unique to our organization.   We award two $5,000 Scholarships, one male and one female, to a post-secondary educational/vocational institution.  This year two additional Scholarships of $2500 each were awarded.   $150,000 in Scholarships have been awarded since 2002.  A newspaper article featuring this year's event can be viewed below.  For more information to volunteer, participate or donate - Contact Tom Maurath at 283-0427.

Biennial Charity Ball

Fall is a wonderful time for a fun filled evening of dining and dancing.  Also a part of the festivities is the silent & chinese auctions, a 50/50 drawing  and special raffle with a drawing for three fabulous prizes.

The 2011 proceeds went to the Sunrise Community located on Pine Island Road across from the entrance to Cape Royal, The Guardian Angels for Cape Coral's Special Population, Pine Island Food Pantry, Cape Coral Caring Center, C.A.R.E.S. Suicide Prevention, Down Syndrom Supported Living Inc., and For the Kids Foundation.

This event is a biennial fundraiser and has raised over $150,000 since 2002.
If you are interested in volunteering at any of our events please contact Marie Hughes at 283-1971 or Tom Mitchell at 283-4882
